A Former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede, on Monday won the Primaries to bear the Peoples Democratic Party’s flag in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN, scored 760 votes to beat Saka Lawal, his only rival, who scored only 22 votes.
Jegede, who has been tagged governor Olusegun Mimiko’s anointed candidate has generated a lot of controversies since declaring to run for the state’s number one seat.
